Getting to NSRRC
Airports
Hsinchu, commonly known as the “Windy City,” is located in northwestern Taiwan, approximately 80 km south of the capital city, Taipei. Hsinchu is about 50 km from the TPE Airport , where most international flights land. There are two other international airports in Taiwan, TSA Airport in Taipei, and KHH Airport in Kaohsiung.
Travel to Hsinchu
It is very convenient to travel to Hsinchu from TPE, TSA or KHH Airport by Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR). Each airport has its metro station that connects you to the closest THSR station. Once you arrive in Hsinchu THSR Station, grab a taxi outside the station; it is the easiest option to get to your destination in Hsinchu.
If you land in TPE or TSA and prefer to hire a car, you can reserve a car with a driver or use the airport taxi service. You may make a reservation (via emailing the reservation form) directly with one of the following companies that our staff have had dealings with. Make sure you get the confirmation. NSRRC only provides information and will not be responsible for contact, reservation and payment.
