There are two poster sessions. Each poster is presented on a board. The standard poster format is a DIN A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm) in portrait orientation (vertical).
The conference organizers will provide necessary materials for poster mounting and Local Committee's members will support delegates for mounting.
The poster must be placed at the assigned location early morning before the starting of the first coffee break. Poster Session Managers will be available with the necessary material for display. The poster shall be removed after 17:00 of the corresponding session.
Each poster has an assigned location on a poster panel identified by the program code. A label on the panel is indicating the poster code. A layout of the area is to be found at the conference booklet to be given at the beginning of the conference.
Poster in Pills Presentation
The 'Poster in Pills' is a mini-oral presentations which provided an elegant way of beginning a poster sessions, whereby a series of short 3 minutes presentations (around 3~5 slides)(without questions) of selected posters were presented at a plenary session before the poster session. The goal is to expose particularly interesting poster contributions to a larger audience.
Speakers must submit their presentation to JACoW SPMS no later than the 16th of October.
Please upload your presentation files of Poster-in-Pills at your Poster ID, and you could first select "Transparencies" on ‘File Type’ to upload file. The file should be named with the program code and "_talk" (for example "WEP01 _talk.ppt") and then uploaded in the same way as for papers through the PCaPAC 2018 account. Any animations or video files referenced within presentations must be uploaded along with the PowerPoint file (select "Supporting Files").
There will be personnel at the speaker's preview room in the conference venue to solve any incident that may happen.
Please note that all speakers must give their presentations from the computer systems set up in the conference rooms. Use of individual laptops cannot be accommodated.
