DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Shoji Asai (KEK)\nKEK is a research institute in Jap
 an carrying out basic science research in a wide range of scientific field
 s from particle and nuclear physics to materials and life sciences using l
 arge accelerator facilities. KEK’s research facilities are open to inter
 national science communities. Three on-going projects are SuperKEKB/Belle 
 II and Photon Factory at the Tsukuba campus and J-PARC at the Tokai campus
 \, a joint project between KEK and Japan Atomic Energy Agency. KEK is also
  making efforts to prepare for future projects such as the International L
 inear Collider(ILC). There are many progresses in J-PARC(750kW)\, SuperKEK
 B and ILC. Current status and future prospects of research activities at K
